Comparing The Four Body Types – Understanding the Genetic Scientific Body Type Quiz/Test for Man or Woman

Why Current Scientific Body Type Standards are Inaccurate – What Is My Body Type Quiz (Male/Female)

What Is My Body Type/How Do I Know My Body Type?
Did you know that the somatotypes, AKA the three body types — endomorph, ectomorph, mesomorph — were discredited in the 1950s (70 years ago!) and have no scientific definition — they are not real. The same is true for the triangle body types, rectangle body type, 10 body types, hormone body types, kibbe body types, apple body type, pear body type, etc., none of them are grounded in any real science. They are all arbitrary, subjective, baseless, nonsense shapes with no actual scientific basis.
Current mainstream science and medical doctors define body type by three main scientific standards:
- The Standard Scientific Human Body Anatomy Book Body Type One (BT1) found in any mainstream scientific human body anatomy book (directly influenced by genetics/DNA), with fully developed muscles/muscle mass, no less
- Body Mass Index (BMI), calculated directly relative to the BT1
- Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), which is the number of calories per day your specific body needs for basic survival functioning, calculated directly relative to the BT1 and BMI

Mainstream science (scientists and medical doctors) says that your body (really every human body) looks identical to the Standard Scientific Human Body Anatomy Book Body Type One (BT1) so long as your body is safely within your scientifically/medically safe BMI weight range. The only exception is if a licensed medical doctor has diagnosed you with a specific malformation, underdevelopment, abnormality, or the like (such as Poland syndrome or scoliosis), which, all things relative, is rare. So, have you been diagnosed by a licensed mainstream medical doctor with a specific abnormality, malformation, underdevelopment, or the like?
The Importance of Skinny Fat
If not, then why are you experiencing skinny fat? The skinny fat phenomenon (some form of fat including cellulite, thin fat, saggy skin, loose skin, crepey skin, and/or normal weight obesity) means having an unusual amount of fat on your body even though you are safely within your medically/scientifically safe BMI weight range. Normal weight obesity is defined as having too much fat on your body when within your safe BMI weight range and carries with it the same relative risks as the disease of obesity. Obesity is having too much fat on your body which takes you outside your safe BMI weight range.
Again, mainstream science and medical doctors say every human being is born in a BT1. So, why do you have skinny fat where there should be muscles/muscle mass when within your safe BMI? Where is the muscle/mass? In people under 40, especially people under 30, there is no scientific evidence that shows that safe weight loss causes a loss of default muscle/mass — during safe weight loss, the body will always burn fat and calories consumed first.
Why Current Body Type Standards are Not Accurate – Scientific Body Type Quiz (Women/Men)
The Standard Scientific Human Body Anatomy Book Body Type One (BT1) is not accurate because, genetically, it is a fact that any part of the human body can be underdeveloped or undeveloped, to whatever degree. This includes muscles/muscle mass and vertebrae/posture. If you are within safe BMI but still have skinny fat where there should be muscles/mass, this is due to genetics.

Body Mass Index (BMI) is not accurate because, genetically, skinny fat, including normal weight obesity, is real (both terms are quite new, only being recognized by science in the last decade or so). If, when within safe BMI, you have skinny fat in place of where there should be muscle on your body, it directly affects your metabolism, no less. This is because one pound of muscle mass burns six (6) calories per day, but one pound of skinny fat and/or fat burns only two (2) to three (3) calories per day. As well, it is possible to have excess muscle mass on your body which will put you into the overweight or obese columns of your BMI weight scale, but because you do not have excess fat on your body you are not overweight or obese.
Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) is not accurate because, metabolically, the scientifically calculated standard Mifflin St Jeor equation and Harris-Benedict equation for activity do not take into account skinny fat. The more skinny fat you have on your body, particularly when within safe BMI, the more negatively your metabolism is affected (fat/skinny fat burns fewer calories than muscle), the less accurate your BMR calculations are, and thus the fewer calories your body actually needs daily.
What Is My Body Type, Scientific Body Type Test/Quiz Variables – How to Know What Your Body Type Is

The Scientific Body Type Quiz for women and men uses widely accepted science-based variables including diet, exercise, lifestyle, metabolism, BMI, BMR, and genetics/DNA, no less. Whether biologically male or female, the Body Type Test helps you identify your muscle mass development (or lack thereof) and skinny fat based on the vertebrae in your spine. There are 26 vertebrae in the human spine (24 moveable and two fixed bones) — cervical (7), thoracic (12), lumbar (5), sacrum (1), coccyx (1).
Body Type One (BT1) – All 26 Vertebrae Fully Developed, relative to the 24 Moveable & Two Fixed Bones (0 Vertebrae Underdeveloped in relation to Posture & Muscles/Muscle Mass)
Body Type Two (BT2) – Between 25 and 18 Vertebrae Fully Developed, relative to the 24 Moveable & Two Fixed Bones (1-8 Vertebrae Underdeveloped in relation to Posture & Muscles/Muscle Mass)
Body Type Three (BT3) – Between 17 and 09 Vertebrae Fully Developed, relative to the 24 Moveable & Two Fixed Bones (9-17 Vertebrae Underdeveloped in relation to Posture & Muscles/Muscle Mass)
Body Type Four (BT4) – Between 08 to 0 Vertebrae Fully Developed, relative to the 24 Moveable & Two Fixed Bones (18-26 Vertebrae Underdeveloped in relation to Posture & Muscles/Muscle Mass)

Scientific Body Type Quiz Results – Science-Based Metabolism & Health Scores
The Body Type Quiz scientifically calculates your science-based Mifflin St Jeor formula FORMR metabolism score. It takes into account skinny fat to determine the Standard Mifflin and Adjusted Mifflin BMRs and whether you have a slow or normal metabolism (fast is not possible at this time). The Harris-Benedict formula calculates the FORMA metabolic rate score to gauge your activity level, be it decreased, steady, or increased.
Further, the Quiz/Test also measures the basic science-based diet, exercise, and lifestyle FORCA health score. Moreover, it tallies the more comprehensive science-based diet, exercise, and lifestyle FORTH health score. Finally, skinny fat and fat tendencies (overweight or obese, including childhood and adult obesity) are identified.
All of these offer final results that allow you to better understand how to know what your body type is, be it a Body Type One (BT1), Body Type Two (BT2), Body Type Three (BT3), or Body Type Four (BT4) — one of The Four Body Types.
