Fellow One Research Participant Nick Piccapietra Bio Summary – Body Type Two (BT2)


I have studied The Four Body Types and I believe I am a Body Type Two (BT2). Obesity has slightly been a problem in my life. My obesity problems started in my life between age 20 and age 24. I was at my heaviest weight when I reached 239 pounds at age 23. The most weight I ever lost was 45 pounds when I was 23. I have not been successful at keeping all that weight off to date. I gained back 37 of those pounds in a span of 12 month(s).

My ride on the obesity weight gain & loss management roller coaster ride has been moderately severe. If/when I put fat weight on my body, it is most likely that I will put the fat weight on in relation to: midriff/abdomen/belly, upper chest/pectoral/breast, face, as accurately as I can figure. I attribute mostly my unbalanced diet to my weight problems. On average, obesity is uncommon in my family.

Upon careful examination of my spine, vertebra(e) (posture), and muscle/muscle mass, I am confident that the following vertebra(e) in my body are underdeveloped if not undeveloped: cervical 1, thoracic 5, thoracic 8, thoracic 10, lumbar 1, lumbar 2, lumbar 3, lumbar 4, as best I can surmise. I am confident I am a Body Type Two (BT2) because I have between (1) and eight (8) vertebrae undeveloped. I am quite sure my body does not look identical to a Body Type One (BT1) with all muscles developed & defined. My body has not always had the fully developed BT1 classic arch, dimples, vertebrae (posture), and muscle mass. I am certain I do not have the fully developed BT1 classic arch and dimples, which strengthens my belief I'm not a BT1.

What Does My Body Type Two (BT2) Mean?


Life is all about balance. Unbalance allows a human being to truly understand balance by recognizing, honestly, what their unbalances truly are. All be it some more than others, all human beings are unbalanced physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, at least to some extent. But most human beings are very unbalanced and unhealthy. The more unbalanced the body type (BT4 is the most unbalanced body type), including metabolism, the more physical work the specific individual person has to do to bring their human body into a state of true physical balance (BT1).

Body Type One (BT1): Physically balanced (Anatomy Standard).

*Fully developed vertebrae, spinal extension (posture), and muscle.

I never experienced the skinny fat phenomenon in the past and/but I am not experiencing the skinny fat phenomenon in my life at present. After reviewing my body, I am experiencing and/or have experienced skinny fat and cellulite relative to: nowhere as far as I can tell.

On average, I do not experience back aches and pain. I feel back aches and pains in my body in relation to: nowhere and it is directly relative to my Body Type Two (BT2).

My daily diet is questionably healthy overall. I would say my diet is carnivore-leaning omnivore. I eat 3 meals per day but they are not all nutritionally balanced; I am likely not getting all my nutrients. I eat mostly whole, regular, non-organic food. I drink alcohol a few times per week, following the recommended 1 glass/day women/2 per day men. I drink no less than the equivalent of 8, 8 ounce glasses of clean water daily and am very hydrated.

I do cardio exercise 6x per week. My training is 90 minutes per day. I like the following types of cardio activities: walking, sports, and the like.

My weekly resistance exercise training routine is healthy. I do resistance training 30 minutes per day; 5x per week. I enjoy the following kinds of resistance exercise training activities: calisthenics (body weight) as it stands now.

My daily work/job/career is moderately strenuous/active, I walk/move and/or lift objects semi-regularly.

My lifestyle overall is very healthy. I get 7.5 to 9.0 hours of sleep per day/night on average. My daily/nightly sleep, on average, is quality and I awake each morning mostly refreshed. I find I am happiest when I partake in the following lifestyle activities: career/job/work, educational opportunities, family relationships, intimate/romantic relationship(s), platonic relationships-friendships, pet relationships, and such.

If my diet, exercise, and lifestyle were all very healthy my body would look 100% identical to a Body Type One (BT1) with all muscles/muscle mass properly developed. My genetics/DNA are the indirect reason for my body type shape; diet, exercise, and lifestyle are the main reason. The soul is real and may play a part in human health, but I am not sure.

    Please carefully review the above Body Type Quiz results post.

    After reviewing your Quiz results and submitted photos, it appears that you are a Body Type Two (BT2) as your cervical 1, thoracic 5, thoracic 8, thoracic 10, lumbar 1, lumbar 2, lumbar 3, and lumbar 4 vertebrae are at least underdeveloped. Your BT1 Classic Arch and Dimples do not appear to be fully developed. This is further supported by your comment, “If/when I put fat weight on my body, it is most likely that I will put the fat weight on in relation to: midriff/abdomen/belly, upper chest/pectoral/breast, face, as accurately as I can figure.” as well as your high risk BMI.

      1.) I would say about an 8 out of 10. I would say the the only thing I’m not 100% sure on is the different lumbar sand thoracic locations. I would say a better way to show the locations is to have a video directing where these regions are. Along with that, I would have more pictures of different ages different body types so someone can get a full understanding of what body type they are.

      2.)
      A) I looked like body type 1 when I was 0 to about 22 years old. With the fact of morning workouts, walking to class, and having baseball practice/games almost everyday, I weighed 180 pounds with a BMI of 9%.
      B) I would say I have been body type 2 the past two years due to the fact I haven’t been as active. With the fact I haven’t been as active, my diet has caught up to me realizing how important nutrition is.
      C) I have never looked like body type 3
      D) I have never looked like body type 4
      E) false. Genetics play a huge factor in my opinion and in my experience. For example, my brother has a taller leaner build to him while I have a smaller thicker build. He is constantly eating unhealthy foods and does not gain any weight. If I have dessert one night, I will gain 3 extra pounds. That being said, I would say poor dieting is the main factor in obesity. I think how fast food is on every corner, how it’s so reasonably priced, and how accessible it is plays a huge factor. After a long day of work, people might not want to cook. Therefore, they make the easy and lazy decision or getting fast food. A person can workout as much as they want, but with a terrible diet, they will not be able to fully overcome it.
