Three Body Types: Ectomorph – Endomorph – Mesomorph
William Herbert Sheldon created the three body types known as endomorph, ecotomorph, and mesomorph in the 1940’s with no real reason or evidence at all. These baseless body types are difficult to apply to the typical human body and do not fit many human bodies. These three body types are really useless for all practical purposes, and great caution should be taken if and when applying them to any single person.
Although hormones do indeed have significant short and long-term effects on the human body, the hormone body types simply do not adequately and reasonably explain why there are so many different human bodies in the world either and why some that even seem the same actually respond quite differently to diet, exercise, lifestyle, obesity, muscle mass development/weightlifting/resistance training & exercise, posture/spinal extension, etc. When it comes to weight loss and gain as well as muscle and muscle mass development, maintenance, and management, not to mention the importance of posture/spinal extension (vertebrae), body type matters.
Unlike the three body types, The Four Body Types uses common sense, logic, reason, and 20+ years of solid research to usefully define human body type in terms of muscle mass and posture. Coming from a revolutionary new spiritual science point of view, the spiritual scientist is the wave of the future. Soul, soul energy, star power, IT factor, and every human being’s inherent spiritual nature leads to a sustainable future that gives more credence to spirituality hand-in-hand with scientific research.
